MUSIC BIO My music career began with tap dancing in talent and minstrel shows. At age 12 I became a church organist and school accompanist. At age 19 I opened a piano and organ studio where I gave private lessons to 45 students. Starting at the age of 14 I have provided entertainment as a piano/keyboard player in restaurants, country clubs, hotel lounges, banquets, weddings, receptions and private parties in Naples, Bath, Corning, Rochester, Cortland, Ithaca and Syracuse. I have also had many years experience as a church musician playing pipe organ, directing choirs, accompanying soloists and groups in traditional, gospel and contemporary Christian music settings. Seven years ago I decided to develop a fulltime music business in my home studio teaching piano and guitar lessons, recording and working with young singers. It was a decision to follow my passion. When asked which is my favorite style of music, I respond with jazz and blues. But, I admit each style has its own flair for expression. Music has been a big part of my life; as musicians know, it becomes who you are. |

Whether the style is jazz and blues, Christian or rock, reggae or salsa, music is a way to express oneself and speak from the heart. It is a pleasure to have the opportunities to share my love for music with audiences, congregations and students. |
